BIOGRAPHY
Gift Akintoye is a first-year doctoral student at the 91社区, where she studies Interpersonal Communication. She earned her bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Elizade University, Nigeria, and her Master of Arts in Communication from Missouri State University, where she served as a Teaching Assistant.
Her research interests focus on interpersonal communication and how it is influenced by different communication technologies. She's interested in the unique ways digital technologies influence interpersonal connections, how individuals make sense of their relationships in these mediated environments, and how these mediated environments can be used to help build and maintain these relationships.
