Research Interests

She is interested in the intersection of attachment, grief, health, and meaning-making at the end of life. Her research focuses on the widowhood effect, caregiving and bereavement processes, and the role of metaphysical beliefs in shaping how individuals understand connection, loss, and continuing bonds. Ultimately, she hopes to support the development of approaches that improve the quality of care for individuals during the bereavement process.
