Nathan Maxfield appointed co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Fluency Disorders

Nathan D. Maxfield, PhD, CCC-SLP, associate professor and principal investigator of the Bulls Stuttering Lab in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, has been officially invited to serve as co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Fluency Disorders. His three-year appointment begins Dec. 1.

The Journal of Fluency Disorders is the official journal of the and is recognized as the only publication devoted specifically to speech fluency disorders. The journal provides comprehensive coverage of the clinical, experimental, and theoretical aspects of speech fluency disorders — particularly stuttering and cluttering — and features contemporary, evidence-based research and interventions.

As co-editor-in-chief, Maxfield will help guide the journal’s editorial direction and ensure that the publication continues to serve as a leading resource for researchers and clinicians in the field of fluency disorders.
