School of Social Work connects with over 100 students on BSW and MSW degree pathways

Valentina Arcilia, academic program specialist, and Lucy (Lu) Norstrand, PhD, academic advisor, from the School of Social Work connected with nearly 100 students interested in pursuing social work degrees at the 13th Annual USF Psychology Expo on Oct. 17.

Throughout the day, students stopped by the PCD 鈥淔ishbowl鈥 and first-floor breezeway to learn about the bachelor and master of social work pathways, including admissions requirements, field education opportunities, and course sequencing.

The advisors also shared insights on the collaborative, cohort-based learning environment that defines USF鈥檚 social work programs, helping students envision their next steps toward a career in service and advocacy.
