Jane Govoni, Ph.D.
Govoni, Associate Professor of Instruction, serves as the ESOL Program Coordinator in the Department of Language, Literacy, Ed.D., Exceptional Student Education, and Physical Education (LLEEP), and has authored several textbooks in her field. She earned her M.A. in Spanish from Boston College and her Ph.D. from USF with a specialization in Second Language Acquisition. She is a past recipient of the 91社区 Irving Wershow Award in foreign language education and the Mary L. Collins Award for excellence in teacher education. She is also the recipient of the USF Margaret Burlington Tritle Faculty Award for excellence in teaching.
