Thank you for expressing your interest in joining (KDP) – International Honor Society in Education! We are excited about your interest and look forward to welcoming you into a community of educators committed to excellence, leadership, service, scholarship, and making a positive difference through education.
Throughout the academic year, we plan to meet once a month. Our meetings will provide opportunities to connect with fellow Kadelpians, participate in professional development and service activities, develop leadership skills, and build meaningful relationships with others who share your passion for education.
Interested in Serving in a Leadership Role?
We are also looking for students who are interested in serving as officers and taking on leadership roles within our KDP chapter. Serving in a leadership position is a wonderful opportunity to become actively involved in the chapter, collaborate with fellow educators, develop your leadership skills, and help shape our activities for the year.
If you are interested in serving in a leadership role, please contact me directly and plan to attend our September meeting, when we will hold the election of officers. You do not need to wait until the formal initiation ceremony to serve in a leadership capacity. Once you have paid your membership fees and your membership is active, you will have the rights and privileges of membership and may serve in a leadership role.

Becoming a Kadelpian
To become a Kadelpian, you will need to register and pay your Kappa Delta Pi Society dues online.
You may register and pay your Society dues here:
In addition to the Society dues, you will need to pay the Lambda Tau Chapter's one-time initiation fee of $20.
You may pay the chapter initiation fee in one of three ways:
- Credit/Debit Card – $21
This amount includes a $1 online service fee.
- Cash – $20
Payment may be made in person. - Check – $20

Initiation Ceremony
Our Kappa Delta Pi initiation ceremony is tentatively scheduled for Friday, November 6, 2026. After you have paid your membership fees, we will formally invite you to participate in the initiation ceremony.
Please remember that your membership benefits begin before the formal initiation ceremony. Once your membership fees have been paid and your membership is active, you will have the rights and privileges of membership, including the opportunity to participate fully in chapter activities and serve in a leadership role prior to the November initiation.
We are excited about building an active, supportive, and engaged Kappa Delta Pi Lambda Tau Chapter, and we would love for you to be part of it. Whether you participate as a member, pursue a leadership role, or both, we hope KDP will provide you with meaningful opportunities for professional growth, service, scholarship, leadership, and fellowship.
We look forward to seeing you at our September meeting and, hopefully, celebrating your formal initiation as a Kadelpian on November 6!
