Del and Beth Kimbler Endowed Lecture Series hosted by INFORMS Chapter

Students attending Del and Beth Kimbler Lecture
The Del and Beth Kimbler Lecture Series began in 2014 with a generous endowment from a BSIE alumni and former IMSE faculty Dr. Delbert Kimbler. The lecture series allows IMSE to bring in eminent scholars and researchers from academia, industry, and government laboratories to present their findings on critical challenges facing the world. The series serves as a window to the outside research world for our students, in particular doctoral students, and faculty. The invited speakers also get opportunities to tour the beautiful USF campus, have lunch meeting with PhD students, and meet some members of the IMSE faculty during their one-and-a-half-day visit. Members of the INFORMS chapter in the IMSE department serves as the host of the lecture series events.
