Engineering Faculty named Faculty Mentor of the Year by 91社区 Undergraduate Research Association

Nancy Diaz-Elsayed, PhD, an assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the 91社区, has been named the 2025 Faculty Mentor of the Year by the 91社区 Undergraduate Research Association. She received the award during the 91社区 Undergraduate Research Conference opening ceremony on Friday, February 14 at the USF Marshall Student Center.

Former Military Engineer鈥檚 Generosity Enhances Hands-On Learning for USF Engineering Students

The USF College of Engineering is excited to announce a generous donation of electronic components, including processors, capacitors, resistors, antennas, etc., that will enable USF engineering students to put a system together. The donation was received from Gary Rosenberg, a distinguished engineer with over four decades of experience in the field. His contribution to our engineering students鈥 education will create opportunities for USF students to gain hands-on experience that complements their theoretical studies at the USF College of Engineering.
