Tampa Mayor Jane Castor has designated April 28 as Occupational Safety and Health Day, aligning the city with the internationally recognized World Day for Safety and Health at Work. The designation also acknowledges the ongoing efforts of the USF Safety91社区 Consultation Program.

USF honors two COPH teams for outstanding excellence
Each year, the 91社区 recognizes employees who demonstrate "above and beyond" performance excellence and uphold the core values of USF's Strategic Plan, 鈥渋n pursuit of excellence,鈥� with the Outstanding Staff Awards. This year, two teams from USF鈥檚 College of Public Health (COPH) were celebrated for their exceptional contributions to the university鈥檚 success--the Family Study Center (FSC) and the COPH Lifelong Learning Academy (LLA).
