Graduate student Emily Kaiser, a Ph.D. student in Dr. Amelia Shevenell鈥檚 lab, reports in from a research expedition to the Ross Sea, Antarctica, where she is part of a team exploring the timing and mechanisms forcing retreat of the Ross Ice Shelf (RIS) following the Last Glacial Maximum. The team will use seafloor mapping, seismic reflection, and sediment coring to achieve their objectives. Read more about their expedition 鈥 and stay tuned for more updates from Emily.
