USF in London Dinner Celebrates USF Alumni, Students, and Faculty in Capital City
July 1, 2024 -- On June 26, more than 50 USF alumni joined over 130 USF students and their faculty
               to kick off the USF in London program in style. Celebrating 11 years of active engagement,
               the attendees gathered at Botanica, in London, to mix, mingle, and share their memories of the USF in London program.
USF Nursing Students Get Clinical Experience in Barranquilla, Colombia
June 28, 2024 -- As part of their practicum, the USF Nursing students, along with seven students from
               the nursing school at Universidad del Norte, in Colombia, completed the community
               health assessments in low-income communities in rural areas around the city of Barranquilla.

An Effort to Use AI to Diagnose Alzheimer鈥檚 Brings a Global Team to Tampa
June 27, 2024 -- NIH/Oxford PhD student James Anibal is a visiting scholar from the United Kingdom,

U.S. Department of State funds New Cybersecurity and AI Study Abroad Program at USF
June 14, 2024 -- The U.S. Department of State has awarded USF funding  to establish a study abroad
               program at the tech-focused Algebra University in Croatia. It鈥檚 designed for USF students
               pursuing degrees in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and computer science engineering.
               Located in Croatia鈥檚 capital, Zagreb, Algebra University is the region鈥檚 leading higher

USF World鈥檚 Sash Ceremony Draws Packed House to Celebrate Graduation
May 7, 2024 -- More than 1,000 international students from more than 70 different countries were
               among USF鈥檚 spring 2024 graduates: 30 new PhDs, 602 students earning master鈥檚 degrees
               and 388 earning bachelor鈥檚 degrees. The sash ceremony on May 1 at the USF Marshall

Hurricane Awareness Event Kicks Up a Storm of Questions
May 7, 2024 -- Each semester, as hurricane season waxes and wanes, the USF International Student
               Support and Emergency Management teams offer hurricane awareness events that help
               students from outside of 91社区 learn what to do in case of a weather-related emergency.
               Supply kit contents, available shelters, and flood zone discussions all help  students

USF Celebrates 31 Years of Partnership with Universidad del Norte in Colombia
May 2, 2024 -- This year marks the 31st anniversary of the 91社区鈥檚 academic partnership with the Universidad
               del Norte (UniNorte) in Barranquilla, Colombia. Barranquilla is Tampa鈥檚 oldest sister
               city, dating back to 1966, and both cities have worked together on projects related

Canada-91社区 Chamber of Commerce Visits USF Tampa, Coinciding with the Launch of
                  Network Canada
February 13, 2024 -- In early February, USF World hosted the Canada-91社区 Chamber of Commerce Health Tech trade mission delegation at the USF Research Park, where members of the team presented
               the extraordinary resources available to entrepreneurs in the medical technology sectors.
               The visit included tours of the office space and research labs at the USF Research
               Park, USF Connect, and a trip to the university鈥檚 Center for Advanced Medical Learning
               and Simulation (CAMLS) in downtown Tampa, where they experienced USF Health鈥檚 state-of-the-art
               facilities firsthand. USF World is using this opportunity to announce the launch of
               Network Canada.

               demand STEM fields. Indian students constitute more than 25% of the over one million
               foreign students studying in the United States, according to the 2023 Open Doors Report
               (ODR) prepared by the State Department in collaboration with the Institute of International

Provost Enjoys Dinner with Prominent USF Alumni in Hyderabad
January 11, 2024 -- Many of USF鈥檚 international student alumni living and working in India are based
               in and around the city of Hyderabad. Hyderabad is the capital of southern India's
               Telangana state and is a major center for technology and financial industries. USF
               Provost Mohapatra and USF World Vice President Kiki Caruson had the good fortune of
               meeting with a group of USF alumni last October 2023 during their visit to India.
