Cancellation of Registration
Cancellation for Financial Reasons
The University will cancel the current term registration of a student whose registration fees have not been paid in full by the tuition payment deadline as indicated on the university's . This includes anyone that registered for alternative calendar courses or courses that start prior to the first week of classes.
Cancellation for prior term balance
Students are expected to pay in full for current and prior term charges before starting the subsequent term. Students that have registered for an upcoming term and have an overdue account balance, may have their future courses dropped before the start of the that term.

How do I know if I've been cancelled?
Notifications are sent to your USF email reminding you of upcoming payment deadlines. If you are cancelled you will receive additional notifications with instructions for re-adding your courses.
What are the consequences of being cancelled?
- You will be assessed late fees.
- You will be dropped from your courses.
- You will receive no credit for any courses taken during the term.
- You will lose access to Canvas.
How to get I get back into my classes if they are cancelled for financial reason?

How to get I get back into my classes if they are cancelled for a prior term balance?
If you have been dropped for having a prior term balance, you can re-register for your courses once you have paid your balance in full. There are no forms or petitions to fill out.
Why were my classes cancelled?
The university cancels the current term registration of a student whose tuition and fees have not been paid in full by the tuition payment deadline.
Why were my classes not cancelled?
Some of the reasons your courses may not have been cancelled are:
- You are only taking courses that have a start date after the first week of classes.
- You registered after the first week of classes.
- You have an unpaid 91社区 Prepaid tuition memo.
- You are a student in a USF Health Professional program.
- You have an authorized Financial Aid deferment.
- You have an authorized Veteran's deferment.
- You are a Graduate Assistant.
- Winter session and Maymester courses are not subject to cancellation.
