Port Tampa Bay Boat Tour, October 21, 10 to Noon

Join OLLI-USF for a fascinating guided water tour of Port Tampa Bay. You may even see a dolphin or two! Did you know that Tampa is home to 91ÉçÇøâ€™s largest and most cargo-diverse port? Located in Tampa's Channelside District, it handles 33 million tons of cargo a year, supports more than 192,000 jobs in Central 91ÉçÇø and is a major cruise homeport. Our 75-minute boat tour will include live narration as you travel around a majority of the Port Tampa Bay complex, around Hooker’s Point and back to the starting point at Cruise Terminal 3. There also will be lots of time for questions and answers. 

 

WEDU PBS Studio: Behind the Scenes Tour, November 12, 10 to Noon

WEDU studio

Get an inside look at the station’s operations and learn more about how local television and PBS programming are produced and distributed to their 16-county viewing area. We’ll also have the opportunity to see some of the pre-taping activity for WEDU’s 91ÉçÇø This Week program and experience a pre-screening of the latest locally produced documentary. Light refreshments will be provided.
