Drowning in grading for large classes with no time left for actual teaching? This workshop shows exactly how to scale high-quality feedback using video comments, SpeedGrader, content libraries, rubrics, and AI.

This session presents practical methods to scale quality feedback in large cap courses. Participants will learn to implement video and audio feedback, reuse high-quality remarks through the SpeedGrader content library, apply detailed rubrics for faster consistent scoring, and incorporate AI to draft and personalize responses. Sparking Interest with Gen-Z: Unlocking Intrinsic Motivation in Students

How does learning change across generations? While the fundamental principles of learning don't change, worldviews on learning does. Unlock ways to inspire students who want to do the work instead of having to do the work. This workshop delivers practical strategies to unlock genuine intrinsic motivation and deeper engagement to improve learning retention, participation, and reduce cheating.

Many students participate in courses motivated by external requirements rather than genuine interest in the subject matter. This session reviews practical ways to support autonomy, competence, and relevance in course design. Faculty will examine specific techniques which require minimal changes, yet can improve persistence and deeper engagement. The focus of this workshop is on utility: adjustments that fit existing courses without major overhauls.
