My approach to therapy: I am a bicultural Persian and Mexican, cisgender, heterosexual woman who was born in Los Angeles, California. I am a fourth-year doctoral candidate in School Psychology, where I have been trained as an evidence-based, culturally responsive, and strengths-based clinician. My goal in therapy is to help clients feel safe, valued, and supported as we work collaboratively toward their goals, reduce their distress, and promote their well-being. My approach to therapy is rooted in a cognitive-behavioral theoretical orientation and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Positive Psychology.
Fun Fact: I have a black cat, two dogs, and a parrot!
