My approach to therapy: I am an Asian American, cisgender man in the Clinical Psychology program at USF鈥檚 Department of Psychology. My goal in therapy is to support individuals to become skillful at managing their own stress and to promote behaviors that align with their values and goals. I collaborate with clients to identify manageable goals while also considering the environmental contexts from which we come and the systems of which we are part. My therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based cognitive-behavioral interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
A fun fact: I love watching movies as events, and my friends and I have had weekly virtual movie nights for 6 years!
