We offer a number of Faculty & Staff services including: Bulls Country Pharmacy, Working Bulls Sick Clinic, Medical Response Unit, Seasonal Flu Shots, and Travel clinic.
Bulls Country Pharmacy
Bulls Country Pharmacy is open to Faculty & Staff for prescribed and over the counter medications. Located in the Student Health & Wellness Center, you can save time and money. We protect the Herd one prescription at a time. CVS Caremark, Optum Rx and People First plans are accepted. Stop in or call us to transfer prescriptions (813) 974-2071. Working Bulls Sick Clinic
Starting August 18! Student Health & Wellness Center Entrance D, Monday through Friday 9am to 1pm. Acute sick care for faculty, Staff, and Campus Partners. We can see Working Bulls when you cannot get into your PCP. With Insurance, we will collect your primary office visit co-pay. Without insurance: self-pay office visits for only $50. Any services performed may incur additional fees. Fees are due at time of service.
Medical Response Unit
The Medical Response Unit (MRU) is available to assist employees and guests on the Tampa campus Fall + Spring semesters, Monday - Friday 10 AM - 7 PM. Faculty & Staff may call 813.974.4678 (4MRU) for on-scene mobile medical interventions with non workplace related injuries. The MRU will meet employees throughout the Tampa campus, where needed. The MRU is self-funded. There is no cost for treatment or medical transportation.
Flu Vaccine
Offered Seasonally: 'Flu vaccination to Faculty & Staff without an appointment. The flu shot is covered 100% by State PPO and HMO. OPS employees may receive the flu shot for only $25. If your employee plan does not cover the vaccination 100%, maximum cost is $25 for employees.
Travel Clinic
We will see staff and faculty for travel for both USF affiliated Travel and personal travel. Make an appointment to meet with our travel health nurse for information on required immunizations and ways to prevent travel-related illness. Book your appointment early as some vaccines require a series of injections and must be completed a month or more before travel. Come prepared with your immunization records and travel itinerary.
