USF Advisor Letter Template

If any class(es) that you are enrolled in during the semester show in the "Fallthrough Courses" section of your Degreeworks, this signifies that they ARE NOT REQUIRED for your current degree path and will likely NOT be certified by the Office of Veteran Success. If a course shows in your "Fallthrough Courses" section, but IS a requirement for your current degree, attach the completed form below to your VA Works application.

Advisor Letter (AL) - For Attending Other IHL

VA may pay benefits for courses taken at another school, provided the courses are applicable to the degree program you are currently pursuing at USF. If you plan to enroll in course(s) at another IHL as a visiting student and would like that enrollment certified to VA, you must complete the Advisor Letter – For Attending Other IHLs. This form must be completed, signed via DocuSign by your academic advisor, and returned to OVS.
