The opening day of the International Security Experience kicks off with the Intelligence and Technology Conference on April 14. Tied to a special issue of Intelligence and National Security (INS), Day 1 will convene leaders and experts from government, academia, the defense and intelligence industries, and the tech sector. Many of the speakers and participants from this opening day conference will be staying for the student conference and strategy competition.

The OneUSF Undergraduate Research Conference will be held on USF's three campuses:

  • Monday, April 20, 2026: Tampa
  • Wednesday, April 22, 2026: St. Petersburg
  • Friday, April 24, 2026: Sarasota-Manatee

Deadlines:

  • Deadline for Student Abstract Submission: Tuesday, March 24
  • Final Decision/Acceptance Notification: Thursday, March 26
  • Deadline to Request Poster Printing: Monday, April 6
  • Conference Registration Deadline: Monday, April 13
  • Poster Pick-up Instructions: Monday, April 13
  • Poster Pick-up Dates: Tuesday, April 14, Wednesday, April 15, and Thursday, April 16

Research Types:

  • Poster presentations
  • Oral Presentations (5-8 minutes maximum plus 2 minutes for Q&A)
  • Creative/Performative Research (10 minutes maximum)

The has become an internationally-recognized event and one of the only conferences focused solely on the research, development and implementation of voice biomarkers to improve healthcare. Unlike some large-scale tech conferences, the Voice AI Symposium is intentionally intimate and designed to give every attendee meaningful opportunities to meet pioneers, tastemakers and thought leaders shaping the future of healthcare through voice AI technologies. Building on the success of past years, the 2026 Voice AI Symposium will bring together the forefront innovators, researchers, clinicians, entrepreneurs and industry leaders of the voice biomarker space for a two-day immersive experience at the forefront of voice and AI in healthcare.

All students and student teams that were engaged in SSEP experiment design and proposal writing of the finalist proposals or flight experiments—across the last 4 SSEP flight opportunities (SSEP Missions 18 through 21 to ISS)—are wholeheartedly invited to attend with their teachers and school administrators, and their families. The conference provides a formal gathering place where students present on their experiment designs, and those teams that flew experiments report results.
