Parent & Family BULLetin
The USF Parent & Family Bulletin is the university’s central communication platform for family members across all campuses. It provides updates on student life, support services, important events and deadlines, family-focused resources, and educational content throughout the year. You can customize your experience to receive the information that matters most to you, at a frequency that fits your schedule.
With over 36,000 families actively engaged year-round and more than 9,000 new families joining each year, the Bulletin is the best way to stay informed about everything happening at USF!

E-Newsletter
By default, you will receive our e-newsletter bi-weekly. This newsletter highlights important dates and deadlines, along with recent posts from our office, campus partners, and community members to help keep families informed about what’s happening in your student’s life at USF. It is also one of the primary ways we share and promote programs hosted by Parent & Family Engagement, which offer opportunities for families to stay connected and involved.
You can update your notification preferences at any time if you would prefer to receive communications more or less frequently.
Discussion Boards
Discussion boards are a great feature within the Parent & Family Bulletin that allow families to connect and communicate with one another about a variety of topics related to the USF experience. Multiple boards are available, covering different areas of interest where families can ask questions, share advice, and engage with the community!
To participate in discussion boards, you must first verify the email address linked to your Bulletin account.
Communities
After creating your account on the Parent & Family Bulletin, you’ll have the option to join a variety of communities across the platform. These communities range from university departments and campus initiatives to topics related to your students’ interests and experiences at USF.
You’re welcome to join as many communities as you’d like. Each community receives targeted updates and content that are relevant to that specific audience.
Family Calendar
As part of the Parent & Family Bulletin, families have access to a calendar within the portal, as well as the newsletter, which highlights important dates, deadlines, and programs that may be especially relevant to families.
The calendar helps keep families informed about opportunities to get involved, such as our #HowToCollege: Family Edition virtual webinars, Family Weekend, Family Move-In Mixers, and more. It also includes important academic dates to be aware of, like when course registration begins, university holidays, and other key milestones throughout the semester.
It’s a great way to stay informed about what’s happening at USF and can even provide helpful conversation starters to use when checking in with your student!
